Biography
Dr Cathy Robinson is an expert in the co-design of collaborative decision-support tools that support biocultural diversity assessments of significant species and habitats. She applies her expertise to develop innovative scientific methods and frameworks that can take account Indigenous, practitioner and scientific knowledge in environmental assessment and management. This includes the co-design of responsible AI and digital technology applications that have been used to support multiple pathways for Indigenous nature-based solutions so that conservation, carbon and other sustainability initiatives reflect and support the local provenance of Indigenous communities, enterprises and contexts.
