Biography
I have a strong interest in taking research out of the lab and putting it into the "real" world to realise impact and improve lives.
Currently developing graphene water membrane technologies using CSIRO's patented form of graphene "GraphAir". Previously I spent some time working with the CSIRO commercialisation team as an associate investigating CSIRO technologies and advising on their commercialisation plans. I recently finished a role as a postdoctoral research fellow with QUT and have previous experience consulting to early stage start-ups.
My own research has focused on Inductively coupled plasma systems, Plasma processing, Graphene, Separation technologies and generally Materials Science with a physics bent. Just recently I have commenced working in the area of quantum technologies particularly focused on quantum applications of 2D materials. I have a PhD in Physics and a Bachelor of Science Hons I in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Sydney.
