Biography

Summer Goodwin is the Editorial and Content Manager at CSIRO, Australia's national science agency. She is an award-winning social media strategist and former News Corp journalist with 25 years’ experience in media, marketing and communications.

Summer has spent the last 15 years focussing on digital storytelling, social media and leading creative teams. She is redefining science communications and successfully leading a talented team to position CSIRO as the gold standard in government social media.

Summer is a certified organisational coach, and coaches and mentors early-career professionals and leaders across Australia. She has presented keynotes and panel sessions on leading creative teams and delivering an effective social media strategy at national and international conferences.
