Mr Greg Williams

Greg leads the Health and Biosecurity portfolio within the CSIRO Futures team; CSIRO's strategic and economic advisory arm. He has led a range of multi-sector projects across health, biosecurity, synthetic biology, space and agribusiness. Many of these projects have had strong impact outcomes, including significant government investments, informing new policy and research agendas, and formalised industry support for recommendations.

Prior to joining CSIRO Futures, Greg was part of KPMG’s Advisory Group, providing policy and regulatory advisory services to government and industry. Greg has a Bachelor of Science (Genetics) and Commerce (Economics) and a Master of Biotechnology from The University of Melbourne. He received awards across these courses, including the AMGEN Australia prize for the top performing student in his Masters graduating year.
