Biography
Muhammad Ejaz Ahmed received the B.Sc. degree in computer sciences from Peshawar University, and the M.S. degree from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan in 2006 and 2011, respectively. He completed the Ph.D. degree from Electronics and Radio Engineering Department at Kyung Hee University of South Korea in February 2014. Muhammad Ejaz Ahmed is working as a research scientist in cyber security at CSIRO's Data61, Marsfield, NSW. Prior to that, he was postdoc with POSTECH South Korea from June 2014 to May 2015. He was with Sungkyunkwan University of South Korea as a research professor from June 2015 to May 2018. His research interests include malware (ransomware) detection, threat hunting, digital forensics, program analysis, natural language processing, and machine learning.
