Biography

Vicky brings extensive engagement and strategy skills from successfully leading teams to build new consulting practices in diverse national and international markets. She has delivered highly valued strategic business advice in a client-facing role for over 15 years, developing organisational IP to replicate client successes in different jurisdictions, overseeing multi-million dollar revenue consulting practices and building trusted relationships and strong morale to assemble high performing teams. Vicky applies her foundation in doctoral-level research with strong financial and commercial acumen to quickly synthesise technical concepts across multiple disciplines to solves strategic problems for customers from a range of industries including energy, mining, engineering, manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, retail and IT.

Vicky is currently part of the core leadership team in the Hydrogen Industry Mission where she was responsible for developing the Mission's strategic narrative and operational framework, stakeholder engagement and new project development, and developing the mission business case. She continues to apply her skills as a knowledge and project broker to initiate collaborative and impactful projects that support the mission purpose, linking in parties from CSIRO business units, federal and state government departments and agencies, industry and the broader research community as needed.

Vicky is passionate about facilitating stronger, more effective collaboration and knowledge transfer between industry and research and mentoring. She serves on the Industry Engagement and Translation Council for the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health, where she contributes to the strategy planning within the Institute. Vicky also contributes to the community as a business and career mentor through programs such as Mentor Walks, CSIRO Services Mentoring Program and the University of Melbourne STEM Industry Mentoring Program.
