Biography
James is part of CSIRO's water forecasting team, where he develops methods and numerical models to forecast streamflows from hours to months in advance. James has a particular interest in quantifying forecast uncertainty in ensemble streamflow forecasts. James comes from a consulting background, where he worked on diverse tasks including design flood studies, river system modelling, hydropower yield modelling, and long-range climate change impacts on streamflows.
