Mr Andrew Chalmers

Andrew is an experienced business development and commercialisation manager, people leader and team builder. He has led business development and commercialisation activities in biotech, agritech, food, digital, education and consulting services in commercial and research organisations over the past 34 years. Andrew has extensive experience in international business development activities.

He has held board positions on CSIRO start-ups and JVs and represented CSIRO on multiple customer-lead committees.
Andrew is currently the Executive Manager of Partnerships and Business Development - Future Industries at CSIRO. He is responsible for leading and coordinating support to the various research units in Future Industries to achieve their impact through partnerships (private and public) whilst meeting their external revenue targets.
