Biography

Greg is a Research Projects Officer in the Metabolomics Team, Environmental and Industrial Biotechnology Group of CSIRO Land and Water. He has wide range of skills from 10 years experience in Gold Mining (Laboratory manager) and 15 years in CSIRO as a Research Projects Officer. In CSIRO he worked on stored grain protection, development of novel fumigants, fumigant application in large grain storage structures and Post-Combustion Carbon Capture.
He gas safety officer is also responsible for training and supervision of visiting scientists and PhD students in gas analysis and was involved in the protein expression & purification, and developed activity assays of immobilised enzymes.
He is currently working on GCMS and LCMS where his focus is on Metabolomics and Proteomics.
