Biography

I conduct applied human geographical research into the implications of collaborative innovation processes. This involves conceptualisations of challenge led, mission-specific and responsible 'innovation'.

This work is applied via the digitalisation of agricultural innovation systems and embedding within key enabling technological investments in cutting edge research and development.

My work has always focused on the future of agricultural land use in some way, particularly in regard to the governance of agri-food systems, within Australasia and more broadly. I grew up on a mixed dryland farm in regional South Australia.
