Mr Aaron Hawdon

Mr Hawdon joined CSIRO Land and Water in 2000 after an initial period with CSIRO Tropical Agriculture beginning in 1997. Since 2005, Mr. Hawdon has developed and nurtured a highly skilled and effective technical team that has evolved from a technical field-based service, into a complete research project resource that is actively involved in all stages of the project life cycle. He has developed a number of innovative environmental monitoring systems that have underpinned the understanding of the processes governing water-borne fluxes of sediment and nutrients in northern Australia, and led the establishment of the first cosmic ray soil moisture sensing network in Australia.
