Biography

Jessica is a communications and stakeholder engagement professional who has been with CSIRO since 2017.

Jess is part of Corporate Affairs' Brand and Marketing unit, supporting the new SME Strategy.

She has recently completed a secondment in the Government Engagement space, working with Missions in development on federal government relationships and the Stakeholder Engagement team.

Jess has formerly been at the helm of the CSIRO ON Accelerator Communications team, and CSIRO Services - a portfolio of 5 business units for the organisation including SME Connect, Infratechnology Systems, Publishing, Futures and Education & Outreach, as Communications Manager.

Prior to joining CSIRO, Jess spent 10 years in federal government portfolios, government affairs organisations and worked for 5 years in Manchester UK in various marketing, events and content manager positions.

Jess is working towards accreditation in UX design from RMIT.

Jess has a strong interest in web design, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and engagement, startups and events management.
