Maciej Holowko obtained his Master of Engineering degree from Warsaw University of Technology and his PhD from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore where he developed the first whole-cell biosensor for in vitro seek and kill of Vibrio cholerae. He is currently working at CSIRO, Australia as Synthetic Biology Stack Developer where his work focuses on the development of high-throughput synthetic biology technologies, including the emerging BioFoundry based in Brisbane, Australia.
