Biography
Geoff Lee is a Senior Research Consultant and Team Leader of the Decision Making Under Uncertainty team within the Quantitative Risk group within Data61. As someone who loves solving complex problems and effectively communicating these solutions to clients, Geoff has extensive experience in applying his academic background in high-level mathematics to complex problem solving in financial engineering. His scientific and technical interests lie in exploring how quantitative risk modelling can be combined with domain knowledge to aid decision-makers to take actions that both reduce risk and add value to organisations and society. He is currently leading projects assessing climate risks on critical infrastructure both in Australia and overseas.
