Biography

Laurent Langhi is a Principal Researcher with the Oil, Gas & Fuel program of CSIRO Energy Program. He has industry and research experience in the fields of structural geology, geomechanics, seismic data analysis and multiscale geological modelling.

Laurent is an accomplished geologist/geophysicist with expertise in the areas of trap integrity prediction, fault seal evaluation, visualisation of fluids migration and geological and geomechanical modelling. He also works in the fields of seismic attributes analysis, quantitative seismic and seismic stratigraphy.

Laurent led numerous research projects for conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon and carbon capture and sequestration. He has been a Research Team Leader and a Group Leader at CSIRO.
