Chelsea is a CERC Postdoc Fellow in Public Health and Wellbeing, Health and Biosecurity at CSIRO. She has an established track record in obesity prevention, children’s dietary intake and digital nutrition interventions, and over 15 years’ experience as an Accredited Practising Dietitian. Her PhD research explored mobile apps for supporting healthy meal planning, food purchasing and preparation in a family context.

Chelsea’s postdoc research focuses on the development and testing of digital interventions to improve the diet quality of Australians. Drawing on nutrition science and behaviour change theory, her work involves the development and testing of simple and personalised strategies to encourage healthy behaviour change.
