Biography
I am currently part of the Health Systems Analytics group working within the Health Implementation Science team at the Australian e-Health Research Centre (A joint venture between CSIRO and the Queensland Government). I am working on the development of statistical models and algorithms to predict the likelihood of patient deterioration, using large digital hospital datasets, and their implementation in the clinical setting. I am also responsible for conducting statistical analyses across health research and implementation projects.
I have a keen interest in observing and analysing patterns in real life data. I have working interests in all areas of population health, chronic and infectious disease epidemiology, medical statistics, machine learning and new and novel methodology. I also enjoy teaching and giving guidance to others.
