Biography

Seagoing marine analytical chemist in the Hydrochemistry team within the Science Engineering and Technology Group (Engineering & Technology, Oceans and Atmosphere Business Unit). Christine commenced in December 2013 and provides support to science projects on board RV Investigator and in the CSIRO Ocean and Atmosphere hydrochemistry fee for service laboratory based in Hobart. Hydrochemistry specialises in coastal and marine nutrient, salinity and dissolved oxygen analyses and data processing to deliver high quality data to clients. Christine has 25 years of technical experience in analysing marine and freshwater environments for a range of physio-chemical parameters.

Christine has filled the role of internal auditor within the Calibration Facility at CSIRO since November 2014. Conducting regular internal audits to verify that the facility continues to comply with the requirements of the management system and the Standard ISO 17025:2005 and National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accreditation.
