Biography
I work as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow within the Biomedical Informatics Group at the Australian e-Health Research Centre (e-Health Research Program) in Brisbane, Australia. Our program is focused on improving the safety, quality and efficiency of health services by developing and translating technology in collaboration with clinical partners. I am the lead researcher on the CONSULT project - research that aims to reduce rates of adverse events in neurosurgery through utilisation of cutting-edge brain mapping techniques, including advanced functional MRI and diffusion MRI tractography. This work is performed in conjunction with clinical partners, including radiologists and neurosurgeons at prominent Australian hospitals. My work is multi-disciplinary and covers aspects of radiology, neuroscience, machine learning, quantitative research, and software engineering. I am funded through an Advance Queensland Research Fellowship.
