Biography

I am a Mechatronics/Robotics engineer with 10+ years post PhD experience in applied research with robotics and emerging digital health technologies. Passionate about bringing new, innovative products to life, blending analysis and creativity. I am currently a Principal Research Scientist and Team Leader in emerging technologies in digital therapeutics and care at CSIRO's Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC), the leading national research facility applying information and communication technology to improve health services for Australians.

My expertise spans from ideation and design to the development and evaluation of digital health/disability products and models of care. I have technical experience in sensing/IoT, AI/machine learning, and hardware/software development that I apply to a variety of projects in sensing, mobile health, human-robot interaction, data mining, predictive analytics and precision health. I have published over 70 articles in leading journals and conference, created national and international collaborations and received multiple national and international awards.
