Biography
I have been lucky to have had many and varied roles during my time with CSIRO, and over the last several years. Most recently, I have been part of teams leading early stage, long time horizon, high risk of failure, scientific programs of research. First, I was part of the leadership team in the Active Integrated Matter (AIM) Future Science Platform (FSP) and now in the Quantum Technologies FSP. In between, I was part of the The Challenges and Digital Transformation Program organisation change initiative of 2019/20 and then part of the team delivering the Manufacturing BU strategy development and implementation of 2020/21. In these roles, my contributions spanned the range from project to program to portfolio, from strategy to implementation to delivery, and from planning to coordination to analysis. Before all of that, I was a Research Scientist within the Biomedical Manufacturing program of the Manufacturing business unit.
I have scientific qualifications in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and biomaterials, was previously registered and practised as a Patent Attorney in Australia and New Zealand, and has Certifications in global best practice Portfolio (MoP, P3O), Programme (MSP), and Project Management (PRINCE2).
