Biography
Kaveh is a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO. He obtained his PhD from Imperial College London in 2011, followed by a 3-year Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of South Australia, jointly appointed to CSIRO. In 2022, he received the CSIRO Julius Career Award and was also an invited candidate for the prestigious Eni Award. His research spans computational and analytical fluid dynamics (including turbulent flows), Darcy-scale multi-phase flows (e.g., NSZD of petroleum hydrocarbons), and radioactive mass transport in deep formations (such as deep borehole disposal of nuclear waste).
Kaveh is actively advancing his expertise in Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations, with a growing body of publications in the field. He also serves as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Edith Cowan University, Australia.
