Biography

Roma is an Innovation Connections Facilitator based in Perth, Western Australia.

She has a wealth of industry engagement experience and networks, having worked most recently at NERA, National Energy Resources Australia, the Industry Growth Centre for the Energy Resources sector. At NERA, she was responsible for Innovation Programs & Partnerships as well as SME Engagement, working with a diverse range of startups, scale-ups and clusters to build business capability and commercialise technologies across the energy resources and subsea sectors.

Roma is passionate about growing innovative small businesses and the power of collaboration. As an Innovation Connections Facilitator, she works with SMEs to help them solve challenges through facilitating collaborative R&D projects with research organisations that are supported by government grants.
