Dr Chenoa Tremblay

Postdoctoral Fellow - Science


I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow with CSIRO. I have:

*20+ years of working in corporate research and development and 10+ years experience working in academic research.

*Proven management and project management skills with 10+ years managing, training, and mentoring staff and students.

*Experience with starting and maintaining international collaborations with industry and academic partners.

*Experience with using SuperComputers to analyse large radio astronomy datasets and organisation of large quantities of survey information from Australian Telescope facilities.

*Experience in multidisciplinary science, including Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy and Engineering.

Other Interests

Outside of doing science I have also been an invited speaker to a number of conferences with a range of disciplines including astronomy, mining, and teaching. I actively engage in teaching and outreach with primary and high school students, and have run and organised workshops. As part of the STEM Professionals in Schools program, I have taught lectures to high school students in a number of astronomy and physics concepts. I enjoy combining all my experience to mentor the next generation of STEM students, from primary school to PhD students.
