Biography

Dr. Yulia Uvarova holds BSc degree in Geology from Moscow State University, Russia (2001), and PhD degree in Geology from University of Manitoba, Canada (2008). Yulia joined CSIRO Mineral Resources in 2012 after her 3.5 year postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Kurt Kyser at Queen's Facility for Isotope Research, Queen's University, Canada. She now works as a Group Leader (23 staff), Project Leader and Principal Scientist within the Discovery Program of CMR. Yulia has been also involved in the Deep Exploration Technologies CRC, first as a researcher, then stepping into the roles of Project Leader and Alternate Program Leader.
