Biography
Rafiq Ali is based in CSIRO’s Energy Research unit. His role involves being the custodian of the CSIRO's Hydrogen 700 bar, vehicle refuelling system and managing aspects of the Hydrogen Technology Demonstration Facility (HTDF) plus the Centre of Hybrid Energy Systems (CHES). All of these facilities are based on CSIRO's Clayton, Victoria, Australian campus.
Together with the Hydrogen related work in CSIRO, he engages with industrial & Academia collaborators to further hydrogen technology research, development and demonstration of projects for decarbonisation and electrification of motive industry via the Hydrogen vector.
Rafiq Ali has International R&D, product and relationship management experience from multiple industries while working in Australia, UK and Finland.
Holding multiple degrees and Harvard University's certification in Technology Entrepreneurship (Lab to Market), he is keenly interested in the accelerated development of the Hydrogen economy.
