Biography
Dr Boylan has 20+ years’ experience leading applied nutrition and food systems research across low- and high-income contexts. She has studied the dietary patterns of populations across Western and Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, the Indo-Pacific and East Africa. Sinead's passion for interdisciplinary research lies at the intersection of food systems, health and the environment. Her research aims to identify strategies to promote a healthy and sustainable diet and better understand the relationship between climate change and diet. She strives for equitable, healthy food access for all. Sinead holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Ulster and a PhD in nutritional epidemiology from the University of Leeds.
