Biography

Liz is a Program Advisor in CSIRO Industry-Research Collaboration (part of Innovation Programs) where her role is to assist in the development of the ideas and innovations of Australian businesses through research collaboration.

Liz has worked to support a number of programs within the team and currently splits her time looking after the operations and reporting for the Regional University Industry Collaboration (RUIC) and as the lead facilitator for the WA Food and Beverage Internship program.

The Regional University Industry Collaboration (RUIC) program aims to build R&D connections and capability between SME's and the four regional QLD Universities (JCU, CQU, UniSC, and UniSQ). The RUIC program is funded by the QLD Government and delivered by CSIRO.

The WA Food and Beverage Internship program (WAFEC) places tertiary STEM students into paid internships with WA businesses from the food and beverage sector, helping to businesses to access top talent and support STEM projects. The WAFEC program is a collaboration with WA Government's Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
