Biography
Dr Lucy Egan has been a member of the CSIRO cotton breeding team since November 2020. She is a Research Scientist and focusses on incorporating host plant resistance to various pests and diseases into cotton. Prior to her position at CSIRO, Lucy was based in New Zealand where she completed her PhD at Lincoln University. Her thesis focussed on germplasm exploration and phenotyping in Trifolium species for the improvement of agronomic traits and abiotic stress tolerance.
