Biography

Dr Marc Elmouttie is a research physicist who has a PhD in Astrophysics with the University of Queensland and the CSIRO Australia Telescope National Facility. Marc is the acting Research Director for the Sustainable Mining Technologies Research Program in CSIRO Minerals. The program consists of around 100 staff and affiliates with research and development focus areas being mine safety & environment, mine automation and digital solutions to improve mine connectivity.

Marc's personal research focuses on fused sensor approaches to improve sensing and monitoring in mining, industrial and aerospace applications
