Biography
Amelia brings to CSIRO a wealth of experience most recently as Head of Beanstalk AgTech business in Australia and New Zealand and previously as A/Director Trade Development & Market Access for the State Government of Victoria (Australia) Department of Economic Development with responsibility for food and fibre, ICT, defence & advanced manufacturing sectors.
In her role with CSIRO Global, Amelia works to:
• Build and maintain relationships with ASEAN government and industry leaders to provide documented and actionable insight to CSIRO scientists and partners seeking market entry.
• Collaborate with Australian Government agencies active in the ASEAN region, particularly Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Austrade, Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment to support targeted market engagement programs profiling CSIRO and its partners capabilities.
• Identify and manage a scalable operational support system to facilitate the engagement of CSIRO people undertaking projects in the ASEAN region; particularly the facilitation of equipment/material transfer, work entry permit compliance and ensuring CSIRO people adhere to Australian Govt directed travel advisory.
Amelia is fluent in Indonesian, holds a Master of international Business and is an AsiaLink Leaders Program fellow.
