Biography
I completed my PhD in geochemistry at Monash University in October 2021 and has now joined Discovery/CMR as a CSIRO Early Research Career (CERC) postdoctoral fellow. My research focuses on the simulation and modelling of the geochemical process of critical minerals from deep Earth to crust. I employ the molecular dynamic method to quantitively provide key thermodynamic data of the Rare Earth Elements (REE) species and obtain better understanding of the dissolution, transportation, and precipitation of REE in hydrothermal systems. I am also interested in employing machine learning algorithms to the molecular dynamic simulations to enable interpretation of large geochemical database.
