Biography
I earned a Bachelor of Computer Science (with Honours) majoring in Networked Systems from Western Sydney University in 2011. I then spent a brief two year period working at IBM in the Global Technical Services group, primarily in a commercial banking setting. I began my PhD in 2014 and it was awarded in 2018. Since then I worked at CSIRO as a Postdoctoral Researcher investigating how machine learning methods could be leveraged for large radio-continuum surveys. My second Postdoctoral position was at Curtin University where I was responsible for the processing of the GLEAM-X dataset, a low-frequency radio-continuum survey conducted with the Murchison Widefield Array.
Since rejoining CSIRO in 2022 I have worked primarily on the ASKAP instruments, where I have developed scalable workflows to automatically process ASKAP datasets. These workflows have been used to autonomously and routinely image all-sky radio continuum and polarisation data-products.
