Biography

I'm a Research Data Specialist working with the Data Access Portal and the Research Data Planner. I am passionate about storytelling, cultural history projects, linking people with information and helping to facilitate organisational change and professional learning experiences. I have a background working in education, eResearch and projects.

I am/have been involved in:

  • Identification of improvements to services
  • Implementing relevant information frameworks for connecting and delivering data
  • Business Unit engagement activities and RDS related forums and groups
  • Promotion of products and services to internal and external clients, and stakeholders
  • Providing training and support to researchers and professional services staff
  • Phase 1, 2 and 3 of development of the Research Data Planner (RDP)
  • Prioritising and aiding Data Access Portal (DAP) development work, including user acceptance testing
  • Liaising with stakeholders as use cases for the DAP and RDP development
