Dr Sara Hamzelou

Sara is postdoctoral fellow in CSIRO Health & Biosecurity. Sara is working to identify novel algae sources of highly digestible protein with functional health benefits.
After receiving MSc in agricultural biotechnology at Shahid Beheshti University, Sara started working as a researcher at Research, Infrastructure and Development Division, Biotechnology Development Council in Tehran, Iran for six years. To expand her knowledge in molecular sciences, she commenced a PhD at Macquarie University in 2017. During her Ph.D., she collaboratively worked on diverse projects focusing proteome response of plants to environmental stresses.
