Biography
Stefan's research aims to help organisations explore plausible futures and make wise choices. His research background lies in the fields of geography, economics, decision theory and strategic foresight. He is one of the world's leading experts in multiple criteria decision analysis with many publications in the scientific and research literature on this topic. He has skills in digital strategy, decision support and geographic information systems. In his role he conducts original research and provides consultancy and advisory services to companies and governments. He leads a team of researchers and consultants working on strategic foresight with a focus on the digital economy. Stefan has a h-index of 32 and 4,017 citations on Google Scholar. His most recent book "Global Megatrends" is one of CSIRO Publishing's best selling books within its category. Stefan has a doctorate in geography from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Economics from the University of New England.
