Biography

Yatish is an accomplished Bioinformatician and Full-Stack Developer, adept at leveraging the latest machine learning, data science, and software development skills to create modern web-based Bioinformatics applications. His experience includes software testing both manual and automated using Perl scripts, teaching and developing graduate-level courses in diverse fields encompassing subjects such as software development and data sciences, structural protein and drug development studies at Pfizer inc, developing bioinformatics solutions dealing with complex unstructured datasets at Centre of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), USA.

With more than 8 years of experience within software development lifecycle management and Bioinformatics, Yatish brings the knowledge of diverse fields and provides robust, innovative and extensible solutions to computational challenges faced by biologists. At CDC, Atlanta USA, Yatish led multiple projects with the team of bioinformaticians and software developers to create proof-of-concept and production applications along with bioinformatics analysis and pipeline development.

Within CSIRO, Yatish leads the Bioinformatics Products team which leverages cloud technologies and machine learning approaches to develop innovative bioinformatics platforms and novel algorithms in the health and biosecurity domain
