Biography

Dr Calum Kinnear is a postdoctoral fellow in the Nanomaterials & Devices team working on the electrophoretic deposition of nanomaterials. He completed his PhD in Fribourg, Switzerland, in the field of bionanomaterials. As an Early Postdoc.Mobility Fellow, from the Swiss National Science Foundation, he then researched the printing of nanocrystals from suspension into templated arrays via chemical and electrophoretic deposition in the lab of Prof. Paul Mulvaney at the University of Melbourne. He now investigates how these printing techniques can used to fabricate active devices for lighting, sensing, and photocatalysis.
