Biography
Karen began her career with CSIRO in early 2002 as a composite research scientist. She has a Bsc (hons) in Chemical Physics and a D.Phil in Epoxy Resin Chemistry from the University of Sussex (UK).
Since joining CSIRO, she has worked in numerous leadership positions and led or managed multiple research projects across a range of areas (advanced composites for aerospace, composite pipeline repair, gas hydrates for flow assurance, decarbonisation towards net zero and supporting development of an Australian hydrogen economy).
