Biography

Sunny Lee is a senior research scientist at CSIRO's Data61, Australia, where she leads the Software Engineering for AI Research Team. Her work centres on AI governance and architecture, with a focus on operationalising responsible AI and AI risk assessments. She has contributed to both government and industry initiatives, helping embed ethical principles and robust governance into real-world AI systems. With over a decade of industry experience in software engineering and project management, she brings a strong practical foundation to her research and leadership in responsible AI.
