Biography
Dr Aditi Mankad is a Principal Research Scientist with CSIRO Environment and Group Leader of the Net Zero Transitions Research Group within the Decarbonisation Pathways Program. Based in Brisbane, she leads interdisciplinary research that supports evidence-based decision making for complex sustainability transitions, bringing together social, behavioural and economic perspectives to help governments, industry and communities navigate change.
Her research focuses on the human dimensions of transition, including stakeholder engagement, social licence, behavioural science, risk perception, innovation adoption and responsible technology development. She has extensive experience working at the interface of science, policy and implementation, helping translate research into practical decision support for emerging technologies, environmental management and industry transformation.
Aditi is trained in psychological science, with core expertise in cognitive and behavioural processes related to emotion, motivation, and behaviour change.

- Behavioural science for climate, environmental and technology transitions
