Biography
Martin Moran is an Engineer who has worked at CSIRO since November 2015. In this time he has made significant impacts on several external projects through on-site personnel and operations leadership, client and stakeholder management and technical expertise. Martin has taken on extra roles and responsibilities over the years which meet and exceed expectations.
Over the past few years Martin has been working closely with the field work projects and external clients. During this time he has gained a greater understanding of clients expectations and how to best implement the team and CSIRO’s Hydraulic Fracturing equipment into the field. The field sites are in remote locations with little access to supplies, which means Martin would need to consider this when preparing for a project. This ensures long term reliability, in addition to back up supplies, to keep the project streamlined.
Martin has coordinated, managed and executed large externally funded projects over the years, including:
- CO2CRC trial and tomography monitoring
- Narrabri preconditioning trial
- Northparkes block cave mine preconditioning trial
- Broadmeadow Mitsubishi Alliance QLD preconditioning trial
- Carrapateena Cave inducement trial
Martin is constantly striving to achieve better results for the team, advancing on existing technology by developing and upgrade the current pumping systems. This has allowed greater control, productivity and reliability in the field which in turn allows for projects to be completed on time, meeting and exceeding client’s expectations.
