Biography
My background is in exploration geology, working across the Tasmanides in eastern Australia and more recently in the Pilbara Craton, targeting Au and Cu mineral systems. Paragenesis models for magmatic-hydrothermal rocks, their relationship to ore forming systems and how it can be interpreted via detailed macroanalytic techniques (i.e. core scanning) and routine whole rock geochemistry is my passion.
My time at CSIRO has been spend investigating Li-pegmatites - indicators and controls for mineralisation and revised classification systems.
