Biography
Dr Hoa Ngo is a Research Scientist working in the CSIRO Australian e-Health Research Centre, part of the Health & Biosecurity Business Unit. He has extensive knowledge of Semantic Web, Knowledge Graph, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. He is specially interested in ontology/terminology matching, knowledge extraction and representation as well as applied state-of-the-art deep learning methods in health text data.
Hoa Ngo received his Bachelor and Master degrees (in Computer Science and Information System) from the Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnic University, Russia in 2003 and 2005. After receiving his Ph.D degree (in Computer Science) from the University Montpellier II, Science and Technology, France in 2013, he had worked in National University of Singapore as a research fellow for 3 years. In August 2016, he joined to Australian E-Health Research Centre and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
