Biography
Najeebullah has expertise in network sciences, disease network analysis, optimization and AI. Understanding the role of human mobility in disease spread through application of network science concepts is at the forefront of his research. His collaborative work on disease spread modelling in the context of Sydney trains network influenced the mask wearing mandate on public transport in NSW and has led to several prestigious award nominations. Najeebullah obtained Erdős Number 3 through international collaborations with prolific mathematicians. He has served as a program committee and organization committee member of AAAI 2020 and SAT 2017, respectively. He has also served as a visiting researcher at the National Institute of Informatics, Tokyo, Japan (2016) and University of Warsaw, Poland (2018).
