Anthony Paproki works as a postdoctoral fellow in the Clinical Imaging Team of the Biomedical Informatics group at the Australian e-Health Research Centre (CSIRO Health & Biosecurity) in Brisbane, Australia. He obtained his PhD degree from the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at The University of Queensland. His PhD work focused on the development of innovative medical imaging algorithms for efficient and accurate analysis of magnetic resonance (MR) images of the knee joint for early diagnosis of osteoarthritis. Before his PhD, Anthony collaborated for a year with the Plant Industry division of CSIRO and patented an image and mesh processing pipeline for accelerated plant phenotyping. Anthony is now working on the design of an MR protocol and analysis software for improved monitoring and treatment of lung disease in children with cystic fibrosis.
