Biography
Dr Zsanett Pintér completed her M.Sc. degree in Experimental Geosciences at Bavarian Research Institute of Experimental Geochemistry and Geophysics (BGI, Bayerisches Geoinstitut), University of Bayreuth (Germany) in 2015, and her Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences at Macquarie University in 2020. In 2019-2022, she worked as postdoctoral researcher at the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment, Monash University. She was a CERC Postdoctoral Fellow with the "Impossible Without You" program (2023-2025) at CSIRO Mineral Resources, within the Characterisation team.
Zsanett is an experienced geochemist and geologist. She has a strong interest in the application of high-resolution microanalysis, cathodoluminescence, mapping in the electron microprobe to solve geological and industrial problems related to the minerals industry. Zsanett has an extensive experience working on multiple types of critical mineral deposits, including Antimony-Gold, Iron Oxide-Copper-Gold, Copper-Cobalt, Lithium pegmatites, Rare-Earth (RE) deposits associated with Carbonatites, Alkali Igneous rocks, Heavy Mineral Sands, and Ionic/non-Ionic RE Clays.
