Biography
Dharmini Robertson represents Australia’s National Science Agency (CSIRO) at the Australian Embassy in Washington D.C. USA. In this role she promotes Australian science and innovation capabilities and helps CSIRO and our partners develop strategic partnership opportunities with key USA government agencies and policy development across both Australia and the USA.
She has over 19 years experience in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining CSIRO, Dharmini was the Director for low emissions technology strategy, developing Australian Government low emissions technology strategy statements. She also spent more than 4 years advising the Innovation Science Australia Board an Australian Government advisory board, on policies for driving impact and commercialising of Australia’s research and development, including reviewing venture capital settings, place-based innovation and increasing public and private sector investment in R&D. Dharmini also spent 14 years at KPMG across several jurisdictions (UK, Singapore, and New Zealand) advising government and businesses as a management consultant and research and development (R&D) incentives advisor.
