Biography
Megan is a Research Dietitian in the Nutrition and Behaviour team, with a background in clinical dietetics and community nutrition.
Achievements include:
* Co-authoring CSIRO books, such as Gut Care Guide (2021) and contributing to the Healthy Gut Diet and the Low-Carb Diet.
* Desseminating CSIRO's nutrition research outcomes through media appearances, including television, radio, podcasts, and print media platforms, including Channel 10's The Project (2024).
* Contributing to the evidence base with publications on dietary patterns, food sustainability and security, dietary assessment (CSIRO Diet Score), and behaviour change.
* Planning and executing nutrition interventions, including education sessions, cooking demonstrations, and clinical trial dietary protocols.
* Participating in the CSIRO Accelio program to explore personalised interventions to reduce the health impact of obesity and chronic disease.
* Participating in the CSIRO ON Accelerate program, developing a point-of-care device to measure gut health.
