Biography

Blake Seers is a Scientific Programmer / Experimental Scientist within the Coastal Extremes Modelling & Projections (CEMP) team within CSIRO’s Climate Science Centre.

Blake graduated with a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Auckland (UoA) before working as a Statistical Consultant in the Department of Statistics at the UoA. With a passion for telling stories with data, Blake brought his expertise to CSIRO in 2019 and has since worked across the various projects within the CEMP team where he contributes to the scientific programming, statistical analyses, visualisation, and high-performance computing requirements for research and industrial purposes.
